Who We Are
Twins Mark and David Shick, were born in northwest Pennsylvania and took an early interest in carpentry and building. After graduating from high school, Mark pursued an associate’s degree in construction technology, and began working with a construction company in Pennsylvania. David joined the Pennsylvania National Guard, proudly serving from 2002-2008 in the Company C, 1st Battalion, 112th Infantry Regiment 56th Stryker Brigade. While serving in the National Guard, David also obtained an associate’s degree in construction technology.
In 2006, Mark and David relocated to Waynesville, North Carolina, seeking warmer weather and opportunity for advancement. Mark and David worked in the Haywood County area for a local home builder in foreman capacities until April, 2018, when they ventured on their own and formed Shick Construction, LLC.
